Jalandhar 10 September (Jaswinder Azad)- To acquaint the students with the selection criteria employed by various companies for the recruitment process, A Pre- Placement Training Programme was organised for the students of MCA. A simulated environment was created wherein students were given rigorous training, so as to equip them with the skill-set required to be successful in the recruitment process. The main objective of this programme was to prepare the students for the forthcoming placement sessions. The programme aimed at making the students more confident in facing their future career challenges. Along with the technical part, students were also groomed to combat other non-technical hitches of Campus Interviews, like Personal Interview, Aptitude, Communication Skills etc. It was a rigorous process where students were assessed on the basis of the on-line test conducted in the campus by the proficient faculty of APJIMTC. This was followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Students were given effective guidance by the expert faculty members for the development of requisite skills set. The purpose of this programme was to sharpen the managerial skills, technical skills, polish their communication skills and make them ready for the corporate world.
