‘Apeejay Institute of Management Technical campus Organised a Guest Lecture on the topic of ‘Surviving in the Ever-Changing IT Industry’

Jalandhar 7 September (Jaswinder Azad)- To encourage, motivate and to keep students informed of the current challenges and advancements in the IT sector, the Alumni Committee of School of Information Technology organized an interactive session for the students of  MCA and BCA with Mr. Navraj Singh, Director, Web Supplements Ltd. Jalandhar, under the ‘Distinguished Alumni-Student Interaction Session’ Program. Mr. Navraj Singh is an alumnus of Apeejay Institute of Management, Jalandhar of the MCA 2000-2003 batch. Mr. Singh has 13 years of experience from the corporate sector and has worked for top notch Multi-National Companies before setting up his own venture in 2009. Mr. Singh presented a lecture on the topic ‘Surviving in the Ever-Changing IT Industry’. He addressed the students of MCA V, MCA III and BCA V . He threw light on the current scenario of the IT industry and the various job aspects that the students could pursue after the completion of their degree. He interacted with the students and guided them on the different options for their career in the field of IT . He also emphasised on the technologies currently being implemented in the industry with special focus on the mobile technology. He encouraged and motivated the students to learn mobile technology as the technology has all the potential to be the most growing technology in the times to come. Mr. Singh also highlighted some of the aspects open for the students which they could pursue in the field of IT after the completion of their degree. Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director of the institute thanked Mr. Singh for the enlightening lecture.
