Jalandhar 18 October (Jaswinder Azad)- Innocent Hearts College of Education organized “Health Assessment and Awareness programme “in order to develop better healthy habits among the would-be teachers. Health checkup of all teachers and students- teachers was done by Mr. Harjit Singh and Mr. S.S Athwal in which weight, body age, fat, muscle, BMI, VFA, RM etc. was assessed. Counseling of the student-teachers was done and tips were given on healthy eating, daily exercises and living stress-free life. Principal Dr. Arjinder Singh said that “Prevention is better than cure”. So environment should be kept clean, balanced diet should be taken and healthy habits should be developed.
