Jalandhar 28 November (Jaswinder Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya – The Heritage Institution, Jalandhar, under the aegis of women Studies Centre organized Short term course in Self Defence Techniques with the aim to build confidence among students and to make them capable to fight back during adverse circumstances. This course is a regular feature here at KMV. Students studying in semester-II across all the faculties are given training of self defence techniques Ms. Rama Sharma, Director, Sanjay Carate School, a well known professional in self defence techniques with over 20 years experience imparted training to students. Two batches of 60 students completed this course. More batches are going to start in the near future. The students participated in this course with great zeal and enthusiasm. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Director Women Studies Centre, motivated the students to actively participate in all such events which not only educate them but also empower them. She also congratulated Mrs. Amarpreet Khurana, Coordinator, Women Studies Centre for successful completion of two batches in short term course in Self Defence Techniques.
