Jalandhar 16 February (Gurkirat Singh)- To ignite the minds of youngsters about investments, P.G. Department of Commerce & Management of Apeejay Colege of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organized a seminar on ‘Investors’ Education’. In this event, Mr. Veer Sahib Singh from SEBI and Mr. Harwinder Singh Sokhi from Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) enlightened the students as the resource persons. They familiarized the students about the prevailing trends of the market and popular investment plans. Most of the times, a common person is not aware of getting benefits from the complexities of stock market. So first of all, a person needs to have thorough understanding of investment plans to get fruitful results. Principal Dr. Sucharita applauded the efforts of the department for enlightening students through such seminars. She said after completing the studies, these youngsters choose a career for themselves and having knowledge of investment plans prepares them to handle their finances efficiently.
