Jalandhar 23 June (Gurkirat Singh)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-The Heritage Institution, Jalandhar, the Pioneer of women education and empowerment in northern India offers various innovative programs for the overall development and welfare of the students. The main aim behind these programs is to make the young students match the global standards. In different innovative programs foundation programs for new entrants is making them understand the development of human story and civilization. Talent development initiatives, and moral education programs are also offered by KMV to the students for their skill development and social upliftment. Many KMV students have visited renowned International educational Institutions under foreign exchange programs. Along with this many National & International trips are organized by different departments of KMV to enhance the practical exposure of the students. One of the major highlights of KMV School of communication where students are taught French, Chinese, Spanish, German and spoken English by the foreign native teachers. KMV’s centre for competitive exams is guiding the students for various job oriented competitive exams like:- UPSE, Bank, PO etc. National Examination Certificate is also worth mention here. Counseling provided by the college to the students for job placements plays a pivotal role in the selection of right career. Different clubs and subject societies are also becoming instrumental to have students skills. Centre for leadership development and life long learning at KMV is providing directions to the students to develop their personality, arranging Yoga and Wellness classes and self defense training.
