- The MoU aims at collaborative research and academic opportunities
Jalandhar 26 September (Gurkirat Singh)- With an objective to offer global learning experience to the students and faculty, CT Group of Institutions, Jalandhar has signed an MOU with University of Derby, UK. Under this MOU, joint initiatives will be taken to promote the academic and research co-operation between the two institutions such as joint supervision of research work/projects, exchange of faculty through deputation on full time/part time basis for implementation of joint tasks within the areas of cooperation, student exchange programs, exclusive short-term/long-term training programs for students and faculty, sharing of facilities and academic resources and to hold joint workshops, conferences and trainings. Dr. G.S. Kalra (Campus Director, CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur) and Dr. Harsh Sadawarti (Pro Vice Chancellor, CT University) and Prof. Kathryn Mitchell (Vice Chancellor, University of Derby) and Mr. Lew Wernick (Director, International Affairs, University of Derby) formally signed an agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. Signing MOU on behalf of University of Derby, Prof. Kathryn Mitchell (Vice Chancellor, University of Derby) and Mr. Lew Wernick (Director, International Affairs, University of Derby) shared that ‘the University of Derby is a first choice of students who want an inspirational environment where they can equip themselves for the career they choose. We have significant investment in world class facilities and have built a strong reputation by offering student-focused real world learning in an increasingly competitive sector’. Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group) said, “This MoU will help in securing effective international research partnerships and in attaining global recognition”. S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group) said, “This MoU would help our faculty and students to explore the widen fields at national as well as International level. CT Group has always been on the front foot in providing best of the facilities to our associates.”
