Jalandhar 7 October (Jaswinder Azad)- An Inter class Quiz competition was organized by the Department of English under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The students participated with full preparation and enthusiasm. There were 5 teams, namely, team Spencer, team Wordsworth, team Browning, team Yeats and team Harrison. Each team comprised of 5 participants. The format of the quiz entailed 5 rounds for each team, wherein the final round was a visual round. The time allotted to give the correct answer was one minute, failing which the question was passed to audience. The first position was bagged by team Spencer, comprising of Vinita, Vanshika, Ishita, Megha and Nitika. Team Harrison bagged second position. Its members were Jyotika, Ashmita, Bhavya, Manshika and Shweta. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen and Head of English Deptt. Mrs. Mamta gave away the prizes. Mrs. Loveleen Kaur and Ms. Nandini Budhia were the quiz masters and Ms. Maneet tabulated the scores. On this occasion, Mrs. Kranti Wadhwa, Mrs. Ramnita Saini Sharda and other teachers were also present.
