Jalandhar 11 August (Jaswinder Azad)- Innocent Hearts School- Green Model Town, Loharan and Cantt. - Jandiala Road celebrated Independence Week. The activities were Scene Depiction, Poetry Recitation and Quiz Competition. All the activities were based on the theme “freedom”. The “Scene Depiction” activity was an Inter House for the students of class VII and VIII.The students participated in the activities enthusiastically. Each house very well presented the scenes of freedom struggle. The students acted as Subhash Chander Bose, Gandhi Ji. Nehru House in G.M.T. got first position. There was a tie between Nehru and Tagore house for the first position. The past was visible on the stage in the form of different personalities - Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Raj guru and Sukhdev were on the stage. The students of class 1 of all the campuses participated in Poetry Recitation Competition and Quiz Competition on National Hero was organised for the children of class II. The objective behind these activities was to create feelings of nationalism and patriotic love for the nation.
