Jalandhar 2 August (Jaswinder Azad)- The star- cast of an upcoming Punjabi drama film visited Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus for promotional campaign. The faculty and students gave a warm welcome to the female protagonist Ms. Jaspinder Cheema, male leads Mr.Pavan Malhotra, Mr. Gurjit Singh and Mr. Aditya Tarnach. It is a drama film based on Punjabi novel 'Gelo' written by doyen of Punjabi literature, Late Ram Sarup Ankhi. The film is directed by Manbhavan Singh. Mr. Adiya Tarnach also shared that he received his education from one of the Apeejay educational institutes and was elated to be in Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus for the promotional campaign. Mr. Pavan Malhotra stated the Gelo is a women-centric movie and if youth is committed to women empowerment, the country can indeed attain the objective of rights and equality for women. This idea inspired them to promote the movie in colleges so as to make youth realize their potential and responsbilities.
The faculty and students also clicked some photographs with the actors. The star-cast received a thunderous applause when they recited a few couplets to enthrall the audience. Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director of the institute thanked the entire team of the movie for the enthralling performances and also conveyed wishes for the success of the movie.
