Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at CT Group of Institutions

  • The Abhiyan was held in Shahpur, Pratappura, Lambri and other villages
  • Awareness regarding Cleanliness and its benefits was given to the residents
Jalandhar 10 August (Jaswinder Azad)- "Charity begins at home" this is the proverb we all should follow to keep our country clean and this is the massage from the PM Narender Modi on starting of "Swachh Bharat" Abhiyan but success of this mission depends on us only. Striding on the motive to aware and inform the residents about the benefits of Cleanliness and hygiene, CT Group of Institutions abide the abhiyan. The members of the faculty members with the students swept the pavements of Shahpur, Pratappura, Lambri and other villages. They initiated the cleanliness drive from their own campus and extended to the surrounding villages by cleaning them, informing and creating awareness about its benefits, habits among the residents.
Students informed the residents as this is bitter reality that we love to see dirtiness around. People hardly use the dustbin in college, school and public places and don’t follow the rules at home because we know that No one is going to stop us. But the moment we visit Western countries we act like best citizens of the earth. Our PM has shown us the path, now everyone should contribute towards it for giving clean Nation to our next generations.
Dr. Manju Bala (Director, CT Institute of Engineering, Management & Technology) said that the primary focus was given to the Cleanliness of our own campus. Students actively came forward make the campus clean and green as the major areas of the campus like Canteen & playgrounds were cleaned by students themselves. S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) said, “If we all get determined, we can convert India’s all small or large wetlands into paradise.”
