Jalandhar 7 September (Jaswinder Azad)- A one day workshop on Indian Classical Music was organized today in Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar in which over 60 students participated. Organised by the Music Department of the college, the workshop had as it resource person Ustad Prof. B.S. Narang of Patiala Gharana who highlighted the nuances of classical music to the students. Welcoming the speaker, the college principal Dr. G.S. Samra said that the college was committed to provide quality education to its students and organising this workshop was one such step in that direction. The occasion also witnessed a performance by Prof. Pavittar Singh and Daljit Singh of the department. The stage during the event was managed by Prof Sukhdev Singh. Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu Dean Co-curricular Activities and the senior faculty members of the College were also present on the occasion.
