Jalandhar 19 October (Jaswinder Azad)- Lyallpur Khalsa College continued its rich tradition of social awareness, sports and other social activities apart from contributing in the field of academics, with an impressive rally organized by the Center for Youth Affairs. This rally was aimed at providing awareness to the youth regarding the hazards of Drugs Menace. Speaking on the occasion, college Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra said that Drugs is an issue that is greatly affecting our society and to get rid of this problem, it is highly imperative that youth is educated and aware about the problems that accompany drugs. He also said that youth being the future of the country is to be made aware of such evils on priority basis. Dr. Tarsem Singh, Incharge, Center for Youth Affairs lead this rally wherein the students were carrying banners and posters with messages of Drugs prevention. A large number of students actively participated in the rally for the awareness of our society.
