Chandigarh Tourism Club celebrates Golden Jubilee of City beautiful

Chandigarh 4 November (Jaswinder Azad)- In order to mark Golden Jubilee Celebration of City Beautiful Chandigarh, Chandigarh Tourism Club in collaboration with ITFT College organized an event at Plaza Sector. The foundation stone of the city was laid in 1952. In 1966 Chandigarh got the unique distinction of being the capital city of both Punjab and Haryana while it was declared a Union Territory. Students also paid tribute to Le Corbusier who designed the master plan for Chandigarh and also considered the pioneer of modern architecture. ITFT studentfrom Assam, Amit Boro thrilled the audience with his melodious Flute performance. Incredible India was brought together through various performances like Nepali Dance, Arunachali Dance, Skit, Boro Dance, Bollywood mix, singing & Fusion followed by various other group dances and singing performances. The function was a symbol of National Integration where ITFT students from different states of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Manipur etc. showcased their talent. The audience had a blast and enjoyed on the dance beats of various performances.
