Student from Hindu Kanya College bags first position in university

Kapurthala 14 July (Gurkirat Singh)- In the recently declared results of B.Com. IInd Semester by Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar, Rytham Sharma of local Hindu Kanya College has secured top position and scored 584/700 marks. Principal Dr. Archna Garg, in a specially organised meeting today, felicitated Rytham for her outstanding achievements and bringing laurels to the college. Rythem, her father Rajinder Sharma, sister Sonia Sharma, senior teachers Mrs. Madhu Sethi, Mrs. Vijay Pathania and head of commerce department, Dr. Neetu Bhargava were present on this occasion. Principal Dr. Garg revealed that the college students have shown 100percent results and college management and authorities are determined to provide state of the art facilities to the students who bring laurels to the college. Meanwhile, Rytham expressed her desire to keep the momentum going in the coming years too and she dreamt to win gold medal in B.Com. “After completing my graduation, I will pursue my studies in marketing abroad,” she said. College President Sh. Tilak Raj Aggarwal, Manager, Sh. Ashwani Aggarwal have also congratulated the topper and other students who have passed the examinations with flying colours, Dr. Garg further added.
