Five day Science Internship Camp was organized by Lyallpur Khalsa College

Jalandhar 12 November (Jaswinder Azad)- A five day DST Inspired Science Internship Camp from 8-12 November was organized by the Department of Biotechnology, Lyallpur Khalsa College. Eminent scholars and over 150 students from 9 meritorious schools participated in this event. On the final day of this camp, Dr. Dhiraj Kumar and Dr. Parimal Kumar from Jammu presented their research papers which were followed by a Quiz competition for students. The chief guest on the concluding day of the program was Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra, Principal, Lyallpur Khalsa College. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra duly praised the efforts of Dr. Arun Dev Sharma, HOD Biotechnology and the entire department for organizing such knowledgeable events. He also informed about the initiatives being taken by the college to bring forth the hidden talents of students. Dr. Arun Dev Sharma, HOD Biotechnology informed that 20 eminent scholars from various universities presented their research papers in this program. The position holder students in the various events of the program were awarded prizes as a token of encouragement. Among distinguished people present were Prof. Jasreen Kaur, HOD English and College Registrar, Dr. Arunjit Kaur Dean College Development Council, Prof. Manohar Singh, Prof. Balwinder Singh, Prof. Gobind Ram, Prof. Gurpreet Singh, Prof. Harsharan Singh, Prof. Inderjit Kaur, Prof. Shelly Gupta, Prof. Vijeyta Joshi, Prof. Shubhneet Kaur, along with the staff members.
