More the 100 bakery products were kept on display, Live cake making, live pastries were special moments for the day.
Jalandhar 25 January (Jaswinder Azad)- Large variety of mouth watering, relishing, picturesque bakery products on display and were good enough to mesmerize the palate of bakery connoisseurs at a mega event “Baker’s World” organized by CT Institute of Hotel Management (CTIHM). Live cake making, live pastries were the special moment of the day. Internationally famous bakery products like Bagels, Focassia, Dinner roll, Bookmaker sandwich, Lava cake and variety of cookies triggered the taste buds of all. The enlightening and exalted event was organized at its Aryana Bakery at the premises of CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur Campus on Wednesday.
More than 100 bakery products were kept on display. Chef Surinder Singh (CDP, Gigabite) and Chef Suresh (CDP, Country Inn) were part of the event, they shared their valuable experience and knowledge with the students of CTIHM. Chef Surinder Singh said, “This is a wonderful platform for the students to learn and grow in the hotel industry. At the event exhibited their confectionary skills in a practical way as they are being trained by the experts at the institution. This endeavor once again enables them to utilize the practical skills learnt in the course period.”
The day mesmerized the taste buds of all bakery connoisseurs from the city. Dr. Rohit Sarin (Director, CT Institute of Hotel Management) said, “At the event, students learnt valuable product making and their presentation with deep knowledge under the guidance of experts from the field of hospitality.”
S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) has given the blessings to the students for their innovation and bright future. He said, “We at CT Group of Institutions intend that our students of hotel management may be having the practical touch of knowledge. While stepping in the hotel Industry they may not confront any sort of problem. Apart from this, the experience gained here would also diffuse the skills of self employability & entrepreneurship among themselves.”
