Jalandhar 25 January (Jaswinder Azad)- Department of NSS of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- The Heritage Institution, Jalandhar celebrated Voter Day under SVEEP Programme with full fervor. The volunteers organized a rally to motivate new voters and to encourage old voters to utilize their right to vote and do voting positively. Along with the Rally a signature campaign was also organized. All the volunteers moved in campus from class to class & motivated students for voting by taking their signatures on Black Board. The volunteers also took an oath for ethical voting. Madam Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi addressed the students regarding the duty of voting for the election of an ideal representatives to form the government.She also told the students about the NOTA option which can be used by the voters. She congratulated the faculty members Mrs. Ashima, Mrs. Anupam and Mr. Sonikfor organizing these meaningful activities.
