Jalandhar 25 January (Jaswinder Azad)- On the second day of the two day photography workshop in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, GNDU Regional Campus at Ladhewali, photographer Himanshu gave tips on studio, wedding and candid photography to the students. Besides talking about the techniques, Himanshu and his team did some outdoor shoot with the students. Each student handled the camera and came up with some good compositions. The students said that they were confident that they could do photography for any occasion now. Earlier, Ms. Shopita Khurana, faculty member, welcomed the guests.
In the afternoon session, Mr. Karamveer Sandhu, veteran photographer, pointed out the significance of lights in studio photography and the creativity that can be done by interplay of light and shadow. The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Namarta Joshi, Head of the Department. She said that workshops on other subjects will also be held shortly. Others present on the occasion were Prof. Kamlesh Singh Duggal, Dr. Charan Kamal Walia, Ms. Savita Dhamija and Mr. Rama Shankar.
