Jalandhar 1 February (Gurkirat Singh)- On 1st Feb,17 Eklavya School celebrated Basant Panchami in the school premises. The celebration was started with Saraswati Vandana. The speech was given by Ms Anchal Sidana on Basant Panchami. The school was beautifully decorated with charts and kites. A beautiful song in the praise of Goddess Saraswati was sung by the students to enhance the chime. The students brought colouful kites and strings in the school. Everyone was looking very excited and happy. The students flew the kites and enjoyed the kite flying with full zeal and enthusiasm. The teachers were fully involved in the celebration. Children brought yellow coloured sweets and shared among themselves. The celebration was a great success. The director of the school, Ms Seema Handa wished the students a very Happy Basant Panchami. The Manager, Ms Sapna Bakshi and the Principal, Ms Dimpal Sharma said that such kind of celebrations make the students aware of their culture, tradition and festivals.
