Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions Celebrated Basant Panchami

Jalandhar 1 February (Gurkirat Singh)- Innocent Hearts School, Green Model Town, Loharan and Cantt. Jandiala Road celebrated Basant Panchmi with the great enthusiasm. The day began with the worship of Goddess Saraswati. The tiny tots of INNOKIDS came in yellow dresses. They danced on the beats of dhol. The li’l ones were excited. The importance of the Basant was explained to them. On this occasion, the students promised to not to fly kites and avoid the usage of Chinese thread. The Director Principal School-Mr. Dheeraj Banati mentioned that as the spring comes weather changes. The children sang song “Phoolo ka kaisa Mahina Aaya” in the special assembly. The certificates were awarded to the winners of the competition. Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, Loharan campus celebrates Basant Panchami on 1st Feburary 2017. The day started off with Saraswati Pooja in the morning which lasted for around two hours with all teaching, non-teaching staff members and students. The Arti was done with whole heart and soul. The Havan was followed by Rangoli event, which was open for both students and teachers. The participant made beautiful Rangolis, both participants and audience enjoyed the event.The day ended with kite flying competition organized in the afternoon. Finally the participant whose kite was flying high till the end after cutting the maximum number of kites become the winner of the competition. The sweets were distributed among the students, teachers and non- teaching staff. Innocent Hearts College of Education, Jalandhar also celebrated Basant Panchami. Student- teachers participated in the Inter-house competitions like–Solo dance, modeling, ‘Yellow dish’ competition, Group Dance, Musical Chair, games etc. The students were given attractive prizes for different items. They enjoyed a lot. The prize distribution ceremony was held in the evening by Dr. Shailesh Tripathi, Director, Innocent Hears Group of Institution. Dr. Anup Bowry, Secretary, Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, further emphasized on the brighter side that these activities create zeal and confidence among the students.
