CT Group celebrated Women’s day with Kindergarten students

Students highlighted the women empowerment and enthralled the audience
Jalandhar 7 March (Jaswinder Azad)- In the past few years, rapid changes have taken place in our society which has provided many opportunities to women for development. Women have made tremendous progress in various spheres of life. With the time, women are achieving more laurels and they are known as the real architects of society. International Women’s Day was celebrated by the students of CT Kindergarten here today on Tuesday.
A fancy dress event was organised and students enthralled the audience with their spectacular impersonation of famous personalities. Some students were garbed in the attire of Malala Yousafzai, a Pakistani activist for female education and the youngest ever Nobel Prize laureate. She is known for human rights advocacy for education and for women in the Swat Valley of Pakistan where the local Taliban had at times banned girls from attending school. Malala’s advocacy has since grown into an international movement. Inspired by this brave girl Anaya and some girls of CT Public School took the initiative to support this child prodigy and conveyed the message of the importance of educating girls and fighting for their rights.
Similarly some were impersonating Mother Teresa who devoted her whole life to witness the joy of loving, the greatness and dignity of every human being, the values of little things done faithfully and with love and the surpassing worth of friendship with God. Some children imitated the politicians and allured the audience for their votes thus spreading the message of the importance of voting and that you could choose your representative in the governing of your country while some garbed as Saina Nehwal, Badminton player; Babita and Gita, Wrestlers. They articulated the message of the players to follow their dreams and passions to reach their goals. Mrs. Parminder Kaur Channi (Co-Chairperson, CT Group of Institutions) and Mrs. Tanika Singh marked their presence at the event, they applauded the efforts of the children and urged everybody to tread on the path of righteousness and serve mankind.
