Jalandhar 7 June (Gurkirat Singh)- It was a perfect day to celebrate this season with the king of fruits “Mango” through a fun filled learning opportunity in the form of a “Mango Day.” To celebrate and relish the taste of the most favourite fruit, mango, students of CT Institute of Hotel Management (CTIHM) enjoyed mango slices and mango drinks prepared by them only. The arena was decorated with the mango dishes. Live cake making, live pastries were the special moment of the day. Bakery products like Mango Tart, Mango Pastries, Mango flavored jellies, Mango Lassi, Mango Phirni, Mango Pudding, Mango Mousse and variety of dry cake triggered the taste buds of all. The enlightening and exalted event was organized at its Aryana Bakery. Mr. Rohit Sammi (HR Manager) and Mr. Vaneet Wadhera (General Manager) from Hotel Ramada Encore were part of the event. They shared their valuable experience and knowledge with the students of CTIHM. Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group) said that the festival of mango creates a huge amount of excitement among the students, “They excitedly participated in the festival which could be clearly seen on their faces. The dishes were mouth watering that showcased the cooking and hospitality skills of our students in an optimum manner among all the faculty, staff and students of other departments. The festival converted the campus premises into a refreshing environment that refreshed everyone.” S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group) has given the blessings to the students for their innovative and bright future. He said, “We at CT Group intend that our students of Hotel Management must be having the practical touch of knowledge. While stepping in the hotel Industry they may not confront any sort of problem. Apart from this, the experience gained here would also diffuse the skills of self employability & entrepreneurship among them.”
