Jalandhar 26 September (Gurkirat Singh)- The NCC unit of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized NCC Awards Day. Mrs. Parvinder Kaur, DSP, Amritsar who is also Alumni of the college, was the Chief Guest. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen welcomed her with a bouquet of flowers. Chief Guest Mrs. Parvinder Kaur gave badges to the cadets of Army and Air Wing. She also gave best cadet trophies to Cdt. Vishali (Army Wing) and Cadet Surbhi Kohli (Air Wing) and Medals of appreciation to 30 cadets. She motivated the cadets to focus on the goals of life and work endlessly to achieve them. She said that the most glorious and best time was my days at HMV, which enabled me to achieve what I have achieved in my professional and personal life. Principal Prof. Dr. Sareen motivated the cadets to join NCC and make their career as officers in defence forces. Mrs. Saloni Sharma, Incharge NCC presented vote of thanks. Dr. Rajiv Kumar, Coordinator NCC, Ms. Sonia Mahendru and Mrs. Purnima were also present there.
