Jalandhar 16 October (Jaswinder Azad)- Ankita Chaudhary, Senior Under Officer, NCC Army Wing of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar brought laurels to the institute by bagging third place in 10 meter Air Rifle Shooting during DTE Inter Directorate Air Rifle Shooting Competition of National level held at Asansol, West Bengal organized by DG, NCC. Prof. Gagandeep Singh, Incharge, NCC Army Wing, while giving information about her victory said, “Ankita grabbed third place by securing 361/400 points among 30 participants from 18 Directorates and has qualified for the North Zone Shooting Competition to be held at New Delhi”. She was honored by Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra and Dr. Manohar Singh, Dean Administration for her Achievement. Dr. Samra congratulated Ankita and appreciated the efforts of the NCC Army wing for overall development of its Cadets. He also offered to extend all kinds of support, which could lead the students of the College to the path of the Victory.
