Jalandhar 8 December (Jaswinder Azad)- ‘God gave us green, now let us keep it clean’ was the message given by tiny tots of DIPS Pre-Wing Suranussi During the cleanliness rally taken out in Janta colony, anand , Anand nagar and Ravidaas nagar. Little DIPSIANS also made human chain on the road leading to maqusdan from Suranussi spreading the message of ‘swachch Bharat ‘through placards and hoarding with slogans like ‘saaf suthra bharat’ yani khushal bharat , ‘ mera shaher saaf ho isme sab ka kaath ho’ , ‘ Do not litter on the roads’ , ‘Use Dustibin’, ‘Hum sab ka ho ek he naara saaf suthra ho bharat humara’. They shouted slogans and also requested passersby to keep the surroundings clean little hands wearing gloves and masks on their mouths cleaned the streets and roads, picking up polythene bags and wrapper littered by residents and commutate. They also went door to door requesting the residents to use dustbin and also maintaining personal hygiene through regular bath, hair cut, brushing of teeth and trimming the nails. Rally was flagged off by principal mukta bahl. She conveyed the message of S. Gurbachan Singh Chairman chain of DIPS Institutions to the kids that her efforts towards cleanse India well not go waste and motivated them to keep their surrounding clean. Residents of the areas visited by students highly appreciated their efforts and patted them on their back. They also promised to keep the surrounding clean.
