Jalandhar 30 January (Gurkirat Singh)- Physiotherapy Department of Lyallpur Khalsa College organized a Bone Density Measurement Camp wherein Ultra Sonometry techniques were used to measure the Bone Mineral Density. The camp was aimed at women over the age of 40 with a focus on Osteopenia and Osteoporosis screening. Patients needing an improvement in the case were advised to undergo Calcium Therapy. The camp was also enthusiastically attended by the staff of the college and the society nearby the college. College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra lauded the efforts of Dr. Raju Sharma, HOD, Physiotherapy Department for preparing such a program much to the benefit of our society. Over 100 patients were duly tested in the proceedings. Prof. Jasreen Kaur, Dean Academic Affairs, Prof. Manohar Singh, Dean Administration, Dr. Jaswant Kaur, Dr. Priyank Sharda, Dr. Richa Sharma, Dr. Komaldeep Kaur, Dr. Sukhwinder, Dr. Sonia, Dr. Rajbir Kaur also contributed to the medical proceedings.
