3rd Day of INSPIRE Camp witness Enlightening Presentations by Scholars at KMV

Jalandhar 1 February (Gurkirat Singh)- On Third day of the 8th 5-day INSPIRE internship Program  at Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-The Heritage and Autonomous Institution, Jalandhar Dr. G.S. Sodhi (SGTB Khalsa college, University of Delhi) delievered on the topic of Detecting Fingerprints on crime Scene Evidences. He discussed that fingerprints found at the crime scene are valuable evidences for detecting the criminal activity. He further elaborated talk on the various methods used to enhance and trace the fingerprints. Dr. N.C. Kotiyal, (Dept. of Chemistry from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar) delivered a valuable talk on  Lethal Condiments. He talked about the various adulterated food items are now being sold which worsen the general health of the people. He extended his table on detection of Adulterants in daily use food products. In last session Prof. Dr. B.S. Kaith ( Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Natioinal Institute of technology, Jalandhar) discussed on the topic Smart materials with defence Applications. He explained the basic characteristics of smart polymers and their applications in defence sector. Later in the day a chemistry workshop was conducted by Dr.UpdeshKaur and Dr.ManjuSahni. In this workshop various activities like Chemical rainbow, magical fire, chemical clock, chemical volcano, elephants toothpaste, colour chameleon, chemical jugglery, fun with balloon, jugnu warms, smoke without fire etc. were organized for the students. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi extended her gratitude towards the guest speakers for providing such detail information to the students.
