Jalandhar 13 May (Jaswinder Azad)- Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized Farewell Party ‘Rukhsat 2018’ for its resident scholars in Ragini Auditorium. The chief guest of the occasion was Hon’ble Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. Hostel Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal and Hostel Supdt. Mr. Lakhwinder Singh welcomed her. The protagonist of the evening was all the final year students. A song was dedicated to them and they were welcomed with flowers. The students performed various dance forms to depict the diverse culture of the country. Saraswati Vandana was also performed by students. The students from Himachal presented their dance form ‘Nati’. Bhangra was the most mesmerizing performance of the event. In modelling competition, all the phenomenal women cherished the stage. The students presented Hostel life through a skit which was appreciated by everyone. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen gave her best wishes to the students and hold her arms out on behalf of HMV and promised to guide the students on every path of life. The parents of students enjoyed the function and appreciated ambience of hostels, facilities provided to their wards and holistic growth of students. The judges of the event were Dr. Santosh Khanna, Mrs. Navroop, Mrs. Binoo Gupta and Ms. Harmeet. Hostel Head Girl Ms. Gurpal Bajwa thanked everyone. On this occasion, Office Supdt. Mr. Amarjit Khanna, Hostel wardens and other members of teaching and non-teaching staff were present. Ms. Srishti Sethi was crowned as Ms. Farewell 2018, Ms. Bhavna Sharma was Ms. Ravishing, Ms. Arshpreet Kaur as Ms. Talented, Bets Attire 2018 was of Ms. Inderpreet Kaur and Ms. Rumi Pathania was crowned as Ms. Adorable 2018.
