Jalandhar 2 July (Jaswinder Azad)- A Havan Yajna was performed at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya on the occasion of inauguration of newly built General office Block of the college. The Chief Guest of the occasion was Vice President DAVCMC and Chairman Local Committee Retd. Justice N.K. Sud, Dr. S.R. Arora, Secretary DAVCMC and Mrs. Arora. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen welcomed them and apprised that today is the birthday of Sh. N.K. Sud too. All the members of the teaching and non-teaching staff performed Havan Yajna and prayed to the almighty to shower his blessings of everyone. Principal Prof. Dr. Sareen addressed the gathering and said that we should appreciate the positive traits of every person and we should try to inculcate those traits in ourselves. It is only our positive qualities that make us a positive person. Office superintendent Mr. Amarjeet Khanna also shared his views on taking wise decisions through a story of Birbal. Mrs. Sunita Dhawan recited the Havan Mantras. Principal Prof. Dr. Sareen congratulated Retd. Justice N.K. Sud on his birthday and prayed to the almighty for his good health. She also congratulated general office employees for the new office. The foundation stone of Juice bar was also laid. On this occasion, members of teaching and non-teaching staff members were present.
