Jalandhar 25 May (Jaswinder Azad)- Aspiring to great heights, CT Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (CTIHM&CT) added another feather to its cap by winning “Excellent Hotel Management Institute in India- North” for being a best Hotel Management Institute in North India. CTIHM&CT won recognition in 10th National Education Summit & Awards 2016 organized by CMAI Association of India at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. Dr. Rohit Sarin (Director, CTIHM&CT) won the Excellent Principal in India- North award in the ceremony.
The award ceremony was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Ram Shankar Katheria, Minister of State for HRD, Prof. Anil D. Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, AICTE, Shri Antriksh Johri, Director IT, CBSE and other dignitaries from different fields while Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions) received the prestigious award at the event.
CTIHM&CT was conferred with this prestigious award after passing through rigorous survey & research. Under the process, a team of officials from CMAI Association of India visited various Hotel Management Colleges of North India. The students of the respective colleges were interviewed on the parameters including Hospitality service, Industry concern training, Innovative practical classes, placements and others.
Dr. Rohit Sarin (Director, CTIHM) exclaimed over receiving the award, he said, “At CTIHM&CT our responsibility extends beyond the boundaries of the classroom and into the domain of creating pathways for students to realize their dreams. Our intensive academic studies, practical training and overall personality development will nurture our students for job opportunities not only in Hotels but also in number of other service sector outlets such as Hotels, Airlines, Cruise liners, Travel Agencies, Tour Operators, Bank and retail.”
He informed that in 2014 & 2015 their Hotel Management institute has won the recognition of “Best Hotel Management College in Jalandhar” and in 2016 we won it for being Best in Punjab for the second time in a row.

He said, “At CTIHM our responsibility extends beyond the boundaries of the classroom and into the domain of creating pathways for students to realize their dreams. Our intensive academic studies, practical training and overall personality development will nurture our students for job opportunities not only in Hotels but also in number of other service sector outlets such as Airlines, Cruise liners, Travel Agencies, Tour Operators, Bank and retail.”
