Jalandhar 16 May (Jaswinder Azad)- K.M.V. Collegiate Sen. Sec. School, Jalandhar organised ‘Talent Hunt’ for the students of 10+1 and 10+2 ( all streams). The function started with the lamp lighting ceremony by Madam Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi, alongwith faculty members. In her address to the students, Madam Principal welcomed all the new students of 10+1 to this great, iconic and heritage institution. She motivated the students that they can achieve the heights of success through hard work and a great future awaits them. She averred that students needs exposure to develop new talents in them. She congratulated all the faculty members for holding this function and wished them good luck. On this occasion, various competitions such as group dance, group songs, solo dance, solo songs, modelling were held. Students participated enthusiastically in these competitions and showed their hidden talents.
Modelling competition was won by Shivani (10+2 Non Medical) while Jasmine and Palavi were adjudged as 1st and 2nd runner up. Parveen and Mansi won Group Song Competition. Uttamdeep Kaur and Mehak were awarded 1st and 2nd for Solo Song Competition. The winners of Group Dance Competition were Att Punjaban , Bhangra Rocker and Modern Bhangra 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively. Jasmine remained 1st in Solo Dance while Sneha and Anshuman won the 2nd Prize. At the end of the function Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Principal, gave away the prizes to the winners.
