Jalandhar 10 May (Jaswinder Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya – The Heritage Institution, Jalandhar’s Ms. Poonam Sharma (Asst. Prof., P.G. Dept. of Music Vocal) along with KMV student Ms. Heema Sharma (MA Sem. II Music Instrumental, KMV) played Sitar at the World Culture Festival 2016 in New Delhi. The festival was organised by Art of Living Foundation and aimed at celebrating the diversity in cultures across the globe while simultaneously highlighting our unity as a human family. Our 35,000 musicians, dancers and singers from 115 nations performed in this festival. Madam Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated Ms. Poonam and Ms. Heema for this achievement.
