Jalandhar 5 September (Jaswinder Azad)- Students of different departments at Lyallpur Khalsa College expressed their gratitude towards their teachers today on Teacher's Day. As a part of the celebrations, poems and speeches focused on teachers were presented by the students. Speaking on the occasion, the college principal Dr GS Samra said that the role of a teacher in a student's life was very much significant and the fate of a nation greatly depended on its teachers. He urged the teachers to instill in their students positive qualities like inquisitiveness, perseverance and patience. The students on the occasion honored the principal and the teachers of the college.
