Jalandhar 5 October (Jaswinder Azad)- Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya participated in GNDU Inter College Swimming Championship held at GNDU Campus Amritsar and got First position with 113 points while GNDU College Ladowali Road Jalandhar got Runner up position with 30 points. A.B. College Pathankot got second runner up positon with 7 points and BBK DAV College for Girls Amritsar got fourth position with 3 points. Our student Km. Shivangi declared Best Swimmer (Women) of GNDU. Team members are Km. Shivangi, Anureeti, Varinder Kaur, Anuja Sharma and Varshali. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated the winners, coach and members of the Sports Department of the college. Principal Dr. Sareen told that Km. Shivangi, Anureeti and Varinder Kaur have also been selected for All India Inter University Swimming Championship which will be held at Panjab University Chandigarh. On this occasion, Head of the Sports Deptt. Mrs. Sudershan Kang, Miss Harmeet Kaur, Miss Sukhwinder Kaur, Coach Mr. Manjit Singh Dhall, Mr. Om Parkash and Mr. Omesh were present.
