Jalandhar 3 October (Jaswinder Azad)- Innocent Hearts Green Model Town students, Uday Sabharwal of class 5, Harshal Batra of class 6 and little Avreen Kaur of U.K.G. won the gold medal at the Open Inter School Roller Skating Championship conducted by The District Roller Skating Association held at the L.P.U. Roller Skating Zone bringing laurels to the school. Students of 200 schools of the district took part in this competition. The chief guest for the event was Mrs Rashmi Vij , the President Director of the District Roller Skating Association. The Director Principal of the school Mr Dheeraj Banati appreciated and encouraged the students to continue to excel in their future endeavours. Avreen , Uday and Harshal are also exceptional in studies . In addition to excellence in sports they are also ‘A’ grade students in studies. The H.O.D. sports Sanjeev Bhardwaj and Vice Principal Sharmila Nakra congratulated the winners and wished them well for the future. Academic Secretary of The Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, Dr. Anup Bowry applauded the efforts of the winners and assured that they would be awarded with concession in their tuition fee in the future.
