Jalandhar 11 October (Jaswinder Azad)- The veteran leader of Punjab and Chandigarh College Teachers Union, former General Secretary of All India Federation of University and College Teachers' Organisations and Former Principal of DAV College Jalandhar Dr. V.K. Tewari left for his heavenly abode last night after a brief illness. A visionary educationist, Dr. Tewari always spoke vociferously about the cause of the teacher community and tirelessly fought for the same. The Governing council, the Principal, staff and students of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, pay tribute to the departed soul and pray to the Almighty to provide the bereaved family the strength to bear this irreparable loss.
