Jalandhar 24 November (Jaswinder Azad)- Gurpreet Kaur of B.A.-III (Sem-V) from Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-the Heritage Institution, Jalandhar won a scholarship of Rs. 26,000/- in an online painting competitions. Students from all over India sent their works. S.D. Ahuja Foundation Kolkatta arranged this online competition. Only eighteen students have been selected from all over India. These students won a scholarship of Rs. 26,000/- each. Gurpreet Kaur is one of them and only one from Punjab. She has been selected and won the scholarship and she is the only candidate selected from Punjab. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the students and the Fine Arts Department for this big achievement. She said students must participate in such competitions so that their talent is recognized.
