Jalandhar 10 November (Jaswinder Azad)- Legal Services day was celebrated on 9th November 2016 by ‘DEPARTMENT OF LAWS’ Guru Nanak Dev University Regional Campus, Jalandhar. Department of Laws organized ‘Debate Competition’ on this occasion. Twelve teams participated in it and all did a splendid work, Advocate Harsh Bhatt and Dr. Charan Kamal presided over as jury members. Head of the Department Dr. Jyotish Malhotra along with Dr. Rupam Jagota thanked the judges and appreciated the work done by the students. The student organizers were also appreciated by them. In the competition Zorawar and Bhawna (2nd Year LLB) secured the first position and the runners of trophy was secured by Sanjana and Divya.The students gave their full participation and awareness on the issue Legal Aid was also spread by them.
