St. Soldier Vice-Principal gets “Research Scientist Award 2016”

Research Scientist Award for St. Soldier Vice-Principal
Jalandhar 19 November (Jaswinder Azad)- Vikrant Sharma, Vice-Principal, St. Soldier Institute of Engineering, Technology & Management, Jalandhar was conferred “Research Scientist Award 2016” for his outstanding achievements in the field of Technical Education. The Award was given by Prof. Pratapsinh Kakasaheb Desai, President Indian Society for Technical Education, New Delhi in ISTE Section Annual Convention held at Rayat-Bahra Institute of Engineering & Technology, Ropar. The Persons were nominated for this award and committee of ISTE has selected the final list of Award Recipients from received nominations according to their contributions in the field of Technical Education & Research.
Prof. Vikrant Sharma has already conferred “PIT CREW AWARD” in Moon Buggy Race 2010 at Huntsville, Alabama, U.S.A and Best Teacher award in 2013 at Rayat-Bahra Institute of Engineering & Technology, Ropar. He has an experience of more than 15 years in field of Technical education. His area of Specialization is Optical Communication Systems. He has published 30 Research papers in various National, International Journals & Conferences. While Accepting the Award, Vice-Principal Vikrant Sharma said, “For me this Award is such an honor & inspiration to work with even more enthusiasm in the field of Research”.
Mr. Anil Chopra (Chairman), Mrs. Sangeeta Chopra (Vice Chairperson), Prof. Manhar Arora (Managing Director), Dr. Vijay Dhir (Director) congratulated Vikrant Sharma for his success and wished him good luck for the future.
