Third Day of INSPIRE Camp organised successfully at K.M.V.

Jalandhar 10 November (Jaswinder Azad)- On the third day of 7th five-day INSPIRE Camp at Kanya Maha Vidyalaya - The Heritage Institutuion, Jalandhar. Dr.Anish Dua (Dept. of Zoology, G.N.D.U, Amritsar) delivered a talk on ‘Journey So Far and the Possibilities in the Subject of Zoology’. Dr.Dua talked in detail about the avenues in Zoology and the changes taking place in the field. He talked about wet lands, rivers and also spoke at length about discoveries and inventions in the field of Zoology. Dr.G.P.Kothiyal (BARC Mumbai) delivered a talk on Renewable Energy Resources’. Dr.Kothiyal talked about the need of rewnewable Energy Resources in India. He spoke at length about the rising sea level, green house effect and the problem of global warming. Dr.Arvind C Ranade (Scientist –E Divisio Head Astronomy and VIPNET, DST, New Delhi) talked about the life of starts from birth to death. Dr.Raanade threw a light on neutron star, white durarf star and Black Hole. The discourses were followed by highly interactive sessions where the students querries were very well answered by the erudite scholars. Alongwith these lectures an Essay Writing Competition on New and Innovative Ideas was also organized. Principal Prof.Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciated the enthusiastic participation of Interns in the camp. She also extended her Gratitude towards the speakers.
