Jalandhar 18 January (Jaswinder Azad)- Campus Placement drive by Concentrix was held at D.A.V College, Jalandhar. Concenrix is a leader in high value global business services based in 25 countries with staff of more than 70,000 who speak more than 40 languages. Mr. M. Balasubramanian, Ms Komal Arora, Mr. Mani Shekhar visited college campus for conducting this placement drive. Dr. S.K Arora, Principal, Prof. Manav aggarwal, Dy. Dean and other members of Training and Placement Cell welcomed the esteemed guests and motivated the students for participating in the placement drive with enthusiasm. Around 100+ final year students of various streams (BCA, BSc(IT/CS/Eco), BCom, BBA,MSC(CS/IT),MA(Eco./Eng),PGDCA participated in the drive. The placement process comprised of two different rounds – ‘HR’ round, ‘voice and accent’ round. 41 students got selected in this placement drive. Students were happy and said that D.A.V College, Jalandhar has provided a platform to explore good career opportunities.
At this occasion the honourable principal Dr SK Arora quoted "I thoroughly appreciate and acknowledge the dire efforts of the placement cell who provide a golden opportunity to the worthy students to Test their Capabilities . I give my heartiest congratulations to the selected candidate students and further I promise to Make sure that all sort of Companies are called upon for campus placements in our college so as to enlighten the skills and technical knowledge of the students."
