More than 40 school students participated on the second day of two days cultural and technical fest from the schools across Punjab.
Jalandhar 21 January (Jaswinder Azad)- The two days, Colors 2017-a cultural and technical fest of CT Group of Institution concluded at its Maqsudan Campus on Saturday. The fest experienced large number of mesmerizing performances by the students in all the events scheduled to show that “Imagine-Invent-Inspire.”
On the second day, more than 900 students from 40 schools participated on the second day of two days cultural and technical fest from the schools across Punjab. Some of the schools include Lawrence International Public School, Dayanand Model School, K V Suranashi, Nehru Garden Senior Secondary School, Government Senior Secondai Camp, Seth Hukam Chand School, HMV Colligate School, Parvati Jain School, DAV School Amb and others. There were scheduled events like- Poster Making, Rangoli, Mehndi, Solo Singing, Pot Painting, LAN Gaming, Flower Arrangement, Caption Contest, Ad Mad Show, Clay Modeling, Folk Dance and many others at the fest.
The Chief Guest for the event S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions), Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions), Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami (Director, Maqsudan Campus) felicitated the overall winners and all the winning participants of various events from both first day’s- College participations and second day’s School Participations. The overall winner of School’s second day events includes CT Public, School as overall winner and Dayanand Model School, Model town, School as Runners-Up.
As the highlight of the event Famous Punjabi Singer Bura Purawal and Harpreet Sidhu gave his enthralling performance at the event. The dignitaries from college governing body and other educational institutions were also present at the occasion.
Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami (Deputy Director, Maqsudan Campus) said, “Winning is not important, but to participated and perform to best of your ability is the priority in all the competitions of life because by participating we can explore. Everyone should strive to improve their personal skills and gradually winning will be last outcome of all the participating results for the one.” S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) congratulated the winners and appreciated the efforts of all the students who took part in the fest.
