Jalandhar 20 January (Jaswinder Azad)- Journalism & Mass Communication department of DAV College, Jalndhar conducts one day workshop on photography powered by SONY Alpha Professional Cameras on in seminar Hall. Mr. Sameer Ashraf, a renowned Fashion Photographer and mentor at FDDI guides the students about photography and its various elements live in his cameras. Principal Dr. S.K. Arora, Dean Public relation Prof Manish Khanna and head of department of JMC, Ms. Meenakshi Sidhu gives the warm welcome to the guest Mr. Sameer Ashraf.
Principal Dr. S.K. Arora encourages student to learn as much as they can from these kinds of creative workshops. Principal Dr S.K.Arora while addressing said that the subject of photography is more practical than theoretical. It is a great exposure for the students. It is very important for them to know every minuet detail about this subject and they also should be aware of new technology in the market. The field of photography has a great future, it is important for students to be best in it.
It was an interactive session as Mr. Ashraf taught the students about the cameras, lighting and several other elements required to become a good photojournalist. He also showcased his photography experience to students through his creative collection in wildlife, landscape and fashion genres. Mr. Sameer also showed his impeccable tricks to students through his camera without using photoshop. At the end of the session, Ms. Meenakshi Sidhu gives vote of thanks and momento to the guest and ensured students for many more workshops and seminars in near future.
