Jalandhar 18 January (Jaswinder Azad)- Co-curricular activities at KanyaMahaVidyalaya- The Heritage Institution, Jalandhar are pursued with a commitment and passion equivalent to academics. This is proved by the Department of Physical Education time and again by creating winners and achievers in various district, national and international championships. This time it is the soft-ball team of KMV that has won 1st Runner-up position by defeating HMV Jalandhar by 0-10 and Khalsa College Amritsar team by 4-14. It is noteworthy that five sports persons of the team Amarjit, VeerpalKaur, Yuvika, Rajni and Swati have been selected for All India Intervarsity Championship to be held at Kottayam (Kerala). Principal Prof. Atima SharmaDwivedi congratulated the winners and asked them to keep honing their skills for future competitions. She congratulated the faculty of the Department of Physical Education for creating player of high quality.
