Jalandhar 28 January (Jaswinder Azad)- At Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- The Heritage Institution, Jalandhar an extension lecture was organized by the Department of B.Voc Textile Design & Apparel Technology. The resource person for the same was Jalandhar based Fashion Designer Sidharth Kakkar, who specializes in menswear clothing & creates under the brand name Sidharth K. Kakkar. All the students of the course B.Voc (Textile Designing & Apparel Technology) being run under the Kaushal Kendra Scheme of the Govt. of India attended the same. In his interaction Mr. Kakkar who has earned a name for himself in the world of Fashion explained lucidly at length the meaning of the concept of Fashion. He also shared some practical experiences related to his professional growth and career. Highlighting the significance of Fashion in the present life style of men/ women in an interesting way he also highlighted its usefulness. The students got to learn many new things from this interesting interaction. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the organizers for having arranged this interesting & informative lecture for the students.
