Patiala, January 17 (Jaswinder Azad)- Fed up with the misgovernance and wrong policies of the Badal government, the Punjab Nambardar Union on Tuesday pledged its support for the Congress at a meeting with party state president Captain Amarinder Singh. "We have decided to extend our fullest support to Capt Amarinder Singh as he is the only leader who can get the state out of its current financial and administrative mess,” said Tarlochan Singh, President of the Union after a meeting of his delegation with the PPCC chief. Captain Amarinder, on his part, assured the Nambardars of all possible help to improve their lot once the Congress comes to power. He urged the union members to work for the welfare and betterment of the people, since they were engaged in grassroot level work and were better equipped to understand the problems faced by the people. Other members of the delegation included Karamjit Singh Isarhedi, Harpal Singh Chappar, Sukhdev Singh Hassanpur Kamboan.
