Jalandhar 21 February (Jaswinder Azad)- Budhist Study Centre of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar took an endeavour to sensitize people regarding the relevance of Budha’s Teachings In this contemporary materialistic world. The college has organized a seven day programme Enlightenment 2017. On the fourth day of the programme, various literary and artistic competitions like Slogan Writing, Paper Reading and Essay Writing were organized. Through these competitions, the messages of ‘Ahinsa Parma Dharma’ and the impact of our thinking on our lifestyle were also spread.
Principal Dr. Sucharita congratulated all the winners and said such events lighten the burdens of this hectic era. The teachings of Budha are the only way soothe one’s soul and to become a better citizen of nation.
