Jalandhar 18 February (Gurkirat Singh)- C.S. Amit Vinayak from Chapter of Institute of Charter Secretaries of India was the Chief guest for this expert talk and other practicing secretary were also present in this program. Head of Commerce Department and Vice Principal Prof V.K.Sareen and President of Commerce Forum Dr Rajwant Kaur Honoured C.S.Mohit Saluja (Chairman Jalandhar ICIC bank) and C.S. A special Honour was showered to acknowledge the presence of CS Dinesh Gupta an eminent personality of the city. Vice Principal and HOD Prof V.K.Sareen introduced C.S. Amit Vinayak stating that our chief guest is a lawyer and FCS by profession. Best thing about Mr C.S. Amit Vinayak is that he is an alumni of our college. While introducing about the programs topic Prof Sareen said that “ in this era of globalization Merger and restructure plays a very important role. In order to put more light on this hot and brewing topic we have asked helped from an expert of this field that is our chief guest C.S. Amit Vinayak. Advocate C.S. Amit Vinayak addressed the audience with a brain storming session .He told the meaning of Corporate restructuring and company merging which mean collecting Company restructure and making an overall statement of it. He also shared information on Flipkart, Myntra, Ranbaxy. Other topics discussed were how Reliance industries limited tookover on Relience petroleum.Deal between Jet Airways and Athihad and Over Seas Acquisitionn between Apollo Tiers Copper Tiers. DLF’s slump sale for Aman Resorts, Slump sale for Bharti Airtel and Loop Mobiles were also told. He also informed about the main difference between Merger and Slump Sale. Difference between Merger and acquisitiontion were also shared. In order to motivate students C.S. Amit Vinayak said that it is very important to properly utilise 24 hours in the day to make your life success story.It is very important to love ourselves only then a person can work for betterment of his life and one should always be loyal to his/her profession.
