Jalandhar 21 February (Jaswinder Azad)- Mendeleev Society of Chemistry organized Paper reading contest on 21st Feb, 2017. Four topics of the Paper reading contest were
1. Development of Electronics in last two decades
2. Future of Higher Education in India
3. Election Process in India
4. Life style of students of 21st century
28 Students of Lyallpur Khalsa College participated. Prof. Navdeep Kaur, Prof Balraj Kaur and Prof. Jaswinder Kaur judged the participants. The Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra encouraged students and gave the prizes. First position was bagged by Ms Priyanka Dadwal (B.Sc Biotech-6th Sem) and Isha Rawal (B.Sc.Non-Med 2nd-Sem). Second position was won by Ms Milan Mahanta (B.Sc.Biotech 6th-Sem) and Ms Savita (M.A. Economics 4th-Sem). Third position was given to Mr. Vishal Agnihotri (B.Sc. Non-Med-6th Sem) and Ms Komal Dadwal (B.Sc. Non-Med-6th Sem). Consolation prizes were given to Hina Rana (M.A.Ecomics-4th Sem) Nidhi (M.Com 4th Sem) and Sanju Gulati (M.Com 4th-Sem). The head of Chemistry Deptt. Prof. Arunjit Kaur and all faculty members were present on the occasion. Dr Geetanjali Moudgil and Ms. Harbinder Kaur conducted the stage.
